AlexAlexandra Morgan Carrasco (American professional soccer player) is an attacking player. She is also captain of the San Diego Wave FC of National Women's Soccer League, the highest division for professional women's soccer. From 2018 until 2020, she was a co-captain of America's women's national soccer squad with Megan Rapinoe. [8][98][9] Morgan was drafted by the Western New York Flash at first place in the 2011 WPS Draft. She had completed her studies at Berkeley early. Morgan also played for California Golden Bears. Morgan made her debut as a professional at the club and was instrumental in helping the team win their league championship. Morgan played a key role in the United States winning their titles at the 2015 FIFA Women's World Cups and 2019. She was selected to both the Dream Team for both tournaments. In 2019, she took home the Silver Boot.
