The officers of the Columbia Police Department were searching actively for Sims and reported him missing on Christmas Eve. They detained Taylor Wardlaw to investigate his death. Eddie Brown, 30, has been charged as an accomplice in the killing by the Columbia Police Department, officials declare. Sims, a 26 year-old male was last seen in Columbia in the early morning of Dec. 20, on Ervin Street. His partner, Wardlaw, reported him missing on Dec. 22 as reported by the police. The body was found near Monticello Road. Naida Rutherford The Richland County coroner confirmed that it belonged to Sims. Columbia Police Chief Skip Holbrook states that Wardlaw is being charged for murder and the possession of weapons during the course of a brutal incident.
