Sharon Yvonne Stone, born March 10, 1958 at Meadville (Pennsylvania), is her mother's Dorothy Lawson, a former employee at a factory and Joseph William Stone, a tool maker and die maker. She has three siblings: Michael, Kelly, and Patrick. Stone was regarded as an academically gifted in her early years and entered second grade at five. Saegertown Senior High School in Saegertown Pennsylvania, was where she graduated in the year 1975. In addition, she competed at Miss Pennsylvania. Miss Pennsylvania pageant and won Miss Crawford County. Stone relocated together with her aunt from New Jersey, where she began a modeling career. A month later, Stone signed up at the Ford Modeling Agency. In Europe she lived for a year living in Milano as well as Paris. In the end, Stone became disillusioned with modeling and fashion and modeling in Europe she decided to take up acting while in the country. She was 20 when she appeared in Woody Allen's film "Stardust Memories," with mixed receptions.
