Anne Celeste Heche was an American actress who was known for her work across a range of types of film, television and theater. Her achievements include the Daytime Emmy Award and a National Board of Review Award. Anne Celeste Heche was an American actor. She passed away on August 11, 2022. She is best known as the character the role of Lieutenant Sheba in the period 1978-1979 of the television show Battlestar Galactica. She is the granddaughter and daughter of actors Gene Lockhart. Her career began at a very young age. She played her first part when she was just four years old for T is for Tumbleweed. The short film about the topic was selected at the Academy Awards. Lockhart learned the business management skills of the company from her mother on the set. Lockhart appeared in many seasons of Lassie. Dora in Jory in 1973 was her first feature film. The year was 1972 and she was just 18 years old when she played her character as the daughter of Joan Crawford on The Sixth Sense. Joan Crawford's last acting gig. Anne has been reported to have rejected Laurie Strode (John Carpenter's 1978 Halloween-themed thriller) as well as Jaime Lee Curtis took the role. Carpenter claims that she was interested however she decided to decline. Anne doesn't recall ever approached with the name of John Carpenter nor being offered the job. The possibility is that her agent turned the part down without informing Anne. The initial decision was by Glen Larson who sent her a very preliminary script for the role on the 1978 series on television Battlestar Galactica. She rejected the role initially since the character wasn't strong. Glen created a brand new character to play for her featuring Sheba as a more powerful character. She was able to accept the Living Legend's script after she read its first pages. It lasted for just one season. She also starred with Desi Arnaz Jr. Melanie Griffith Robert Carradine, Desi Arnaz (son Desi Arnaz & Lucille ball) in Joyride in 1977. And she costarred alongside Michael Moriarty as The Dark Tower in 1987.
